Stop Smoking

During a programme of 3 sessions and carrying out some simple exercises in your own time along with my support as necessary, I will help you overcome your addiction to cigarettes.  In addition to you quitting the habit, you will address the physical cravings without the common side effect of weight gain.

 

Weight loss

Hypnotherapy and NLP can be used to great advantage in stopping overeating, controlling cravings and motivating you to live a healthier lifestyle. Your thoughts can be rearranged, changing attitudes and beliefs about yourself and your relationship with food.

 

Stress and anxiety

Using carefully constructed questions the root cause of the anxiety can be identified. Once this has been addressed various techniques (eg using visualisation) can be used in order to relieve the negative symptoms of the anxiety, and the unwanted state or behaviour can then be replaced with a positive one.

Hypnotherapy can be very useful for dealing with stress and anxiety as it is particularly effective for bringing about a deep sense of relaxation. At which time positive suggestions are given to instil a sense of purpose and wellbeing.

 

Nail biting and other unwanted habits

A series of questions will be asked to uncover both primary (conscious) and secondary (unconscious) gains, after which techniques will be used to offer more appropriated alternatives to achieve those gains.

 

Phobias

You will be asked carefully constructed questions to discover the route cause of your phobia and then using tried and tested techniques which will be specifically tailored to your experience you will be able to regard your phobia more objectively and learn to look upon the event without inappropriate emotion.
